NHS Wales e-Library: e-Resource feedback surveys

20 June 2023

The NHS Wales e-Library provides a comprehensive range of e-Resources for healthcare professionals such as evidence summaries, guidelines and e-learning.

The e-Resources support healthcare professionals to follow best-practice evidence and guidelines, and to continue in their professional skills and career development.

To ensure ongoing evaluation and development of the e-Resources, the NHS Wales e-Library is seeking feedback from users of the e-Library. Three surveys have been developed to capture crucial feedback about the value, impact and usefulness of specific national e-reources in key areas.

Completing a survey will help to ensure and inform the review for procurement of the different products and platforms. To ensure on-going evaluation and development of e-resources the surveys are gathering feedback regarding the use and impact the e-resources are having on healthcare professionals at work.

Welsh Government, Information, Library & Archive Services said:

“We regularly use high quality evidence from e-Library resources to support Welsh Government policy development, implementation and review. We also benefit from the pool of shared expertise and networks within the e-Library and value opportunities to support and contribute where we can.”

The gathered data will be anonymised, and reviewed in tandem with other data, such as usage, as part of ongoing evaluation.

E-library Champion at Public Health Wales, Claire Morgan said:

“We’d really appreciate feedback on these resources. Completing the surveys, even to say you don’t use them, helps to give us more information about the e-library requirements.”
