Digital Health and Care Wales were proud to be finalists for two awards last night (November 13) at the prestigious annual UK IT Industry Awards. The awards are designed to celebrate and promote the organisations, teams, projects, technologies and individuals who shape the future of IT.
DHCW was shortlisted for ‘Best place to work in IT’ and the Electronic Prescription Service team for ‘Team of the Year’ for their work on the biggest change in decades to prescribing in NHS Wales.
Helen Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, said: “It is a fantastic achievement for all of us to be finalists in such a prestigious award and we will continue to work hard to make DHCW a great place to work.”
The UK IT Industry Awards are the largest and most well-known event in the technology industry calendar. Owned and operated by the British Computing Society (BCS), The Chartered Institute for IT and Computing, they aim to celebrate the role of the IT professional and the positive impact they have on business, society and the environment.
