Helen Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Health and Care Wales, won ‘Digital CEO of the Year’ at the 2021 Digital Health Awards.
The award celebrates the achievements of leaders making the ‘biggest contributions to UK healthcare IT’
Jon Hoeksma, CEO of Digital Health, said: “Board leadership on digital has never been more important for achieving digital transformation at scale, enabling NHS recovery and securing the digital gains of the pandemic.”
Helen said she was delighted to have won, “I am completely overwhelmed and hugely grateful” she added, “The team effort and support from my colleagues has been and continues to be immense and I couldn’t have done it without them. We’ve been through some real challenges over the past few years and I’m honoured to be able to lead such a brilliant team, thank you.”
