Digital Champions help family, friends and people in their community understand and use the NHS Wales App. They support people to build confidence using digital health services, and signpost them to the right help and support when needed.
Digital Champions are trusted supporters, not technical experts.
Our Digital Champion training is for people aged 18 and over. It lasts 1 hour and is delivered online through Microsoft Teams. It gives you an introduction to:
• digital exclusion
• NHS login and identity verification
• how the NHS Wales App works
• privacy and safeguarding
• where to signpost people for help and support

We aim to make our training sessions as accessible as possible using Microsoft Teams accessibility features, accessible materials and inclusive facilitation.
