In today's world, being online is no longer a luxury. The internet and digital devices have become an important part of everyday life: from keeping in touch with family and friends to accessing health services, finding work, managing money and supporting children's learning.
But what happens if you don't have a mobile phone, computer, tablet or internet connection? Being offline isn't a lifestyle choice for everyone. It can limit opportunities, increase isolation and leave people feeling left behind. That's where Digital Lifelines for Llanelli, Foothold Cymru can help. The Digital Lifelines project is funded by the Welsh government and is here to support local people to get online safely, confidently, and affordably. We offer free, informal digital sessions in local venues, close to where people live. You don't need to be an expert, and you don't need to know anything about technology already, we start where you are.
How can we help?
Our friendly sessions can help people:
Bring your own device and we can help you learn how to use it.
Getting online doesn't have to cost a fortune
We know that the cost of devices, mobile data and broadband can be a barrier to getting online.
Digital Lifelines can provide information and support to help make getting connected more affordable, including:

Everyone deserves the chance to be connected
