Director of Finance and Business Assurance

Claire Osmundsen-Little joined DHCW as Director of Finance and Business Assurance in 2019 from Morriston Hospital in Abertawe Bro Morgannwg Health Board ABMU where she was the Associate Director of Finance.  

Claire is a Qualified Accountant with a Master’s in Business Administration from Warwick University and BA (hons) in Accounting and Finance.  Prior to joining the NHS in June 2016 Claire worked for over 20 years in Tata Steel in various senior finance positions based both in South Wales, Ijmuiden in the Netherlands and in Basque Country, Spain. She has been involved in the development and deployment of transformational financial strategies and has an interest in data analysis and opportunities for health care efficiencies. Claire has a keen interest in the development of digital strategies to help in supporting a Healthier Wales.

Claire and her husband Garry live in Llanelli with their twin daughters.
