Following the award of a new framework contract to supply GP IT systems and services to NHS Wales, practices in Wales were asked to select between the two successful suppliers, Microtest and Vision.
The results were 111 practices choosing Microtest, and 305 practices chose Vision. The practices heard from both the suppliers at a series of roadshows held around the country during April and May, and were asked to submit their final decision by the end of May.
The first migrations to the new systems will take place in January 2019.
