Our National Data Warehouse holds up to 20 years of data from a wide range of patient level data sets. A list of datasets, their coverage and time frames can be found here. For more information on these datasets, see the NHS Wales Data Dictionary.
Analysts within the team have expertise in a range of software and analysis tools, including SQL, Power BI, R, Python, Logi, and the Google Cloud Platform. As well as understanding the strengths and drawbacks of the range of clinical datasets and their uses, we would be happy to talk to you about the survival analysis, hypothesis testing and predictive analytics (e.g. forecasting and clustering). Our analysts are also highly experienced in data linkage, following patients across these datasets to address a wide range of clinical and operational questions.
