The Composition of the Board and Membership

Composition of Board: Appendix 1 provides detailed information in relation to the composition of the Board including executive directors and independent members, who have authority or responsibility for directing or controlling the major activities of DHCW during the financial year 2024/25. This includes the names of the Chair and Chief Executive. Table 1 also includes the names of the directors forming the Audit and Assurance Committee. Appendix 1 also details the meetings attended during the year and the champion roles agreed by Board Members for the forthcoming year. In addition, short biographies of all Board Members can be found on the Special Health Authorities website.

Register of Interests

To ensure fair and equitable decision making, the Board are required to declare any interests which may conflict with the organisation’s responsibilities. This is updated on a regular basis and received by the Audit and Assurance Committee on behalf of the Board. It is published to the DHCW website under key documents. A hard copy can be obtained from the Director of Corporate Affairs | Board Secretary on request.
